L'Azienda Agricola "Carrer Roberto", with its land solely cultivated with vines, is located in the province of Treviso, by the eastern border of Veneto. It is a family run business, with a tradition that passes from father to son; it was in fact the grandfather Pietro who purchased in 1955 the first land in Chiarano.
The love and the passion for the land soon influenced the son Roberto, who by joining his father shared the hard work, performed at that time with very few machinery, but also the satisfactions that came with it.
Thoughout the years the old vineyards have been substituted by new ones, however keeping pace with the newest technology in cultivation. The ten hectares owned by the Azienda today, benefits from the mild climate and from a soil particulary suited for the cultivation of the vine. This is so due to the near presence of two rivers: Livenza and Piave. Throughout the centuries these two important rivers have concentrated loamy and calcareous components in the soil, which are fundamental for high quality grapes.
With the use of modern technology, though respecting traditional vinification processes, we manage to obtain from these grapes wines of great prestige.
Beside Roberto, his son Stefano carries on with to motto "tradition and innovation" the passion for the land and for the wines. Together they concentrate their efforts to continuously improve in order to satisfy even the most sophisticated clients. The family Carrer opens the door to those wish to discover the quality of their wines accompanied by cordiality and warm hospitality.
